"Our methods take into consideration the spontaneous
mental development of children, and assist it with
means derived from observation and experience"
Maria Montessori - The Discovery of the Child
Welcome to The Children’s House Montessori School. I hope you will take the time to explore this website and find out what makes The Children’s House Montessori School such a unique school.
As principal, I have the privilege of working with a dedicated community of staff, parents, alumni and friends who are committed to our mission “to excite your child’s creativity, curiosity and imagination in a respectful learning environment”.
As a leading private Montessori school in the Kingdom of Bahrain, a MEAB accredited Montessori Schools and a member of MSA, United Kingdom, The Children’s House's exceptional approach motivates children to acquire intellectual, personal and social skills. The Children’s House education develops a confident, competent and compassionate learner for life.
At the core of the Montessori Method is the belief that all teaching, to be truly effective, must be child centred. At The Children’s House we follow this principle at all times; the school is non selective and children are taught as individuals, encouraged to strengthen their weaker points and to excel in their stronger areas.
The fertile minds of young children are nurtured and developed in our kindergarten (2 years to 2 1/2 years old years old) and by the time that they move into our pre-reception class, at age 3-4, they are often reading and able to do addition and simple subtraction in mathematics. The reception class (4-5 years old) develop the children into well rounded individuals, both academically and personally, and they leave The Children’s House at age 5-6 (Year 1) with a love of learning, enthusiastic, confident and prepared for the next stage of their education.
Here is an article writing about what we are offering at The Children's House. Hope you will find some very informative information you may wish to know.
Please feel free to contact me with your questions or better yet, schedule a visit to our extraordinary school. I look forward to meeting you.
